Elderly Health Issues
According to the National Council on Aging, about 92 percent of seniors have at least one chronic disease and 77 percent have at least two. Heart disease, stroke, cancer, and diabetes are among the most common and costly chronic health conditions causing two-thirds of deaths each year.

Everyone should have health insurance? I say everyone should have health care. I’m not selling insurance.

Elderly Health Issues

Cognitive health is focused on a person’s ability to think, learn and remember. The most common cognitive health issue facing the elderly is dementia, the loss of those cognitive functions. Approximately 47.5 million people worldwide have dementia—a number that is predicted to nearly triple in size by 2050. (Source: vitalrecord.tamhsc.edu)

Testimonials

I recently used the Companion service provided by North Region Homecare LLC and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. The caregiver who accompanied me was kind, friendly, and professional, and made me feel comfortable right away. They provided exceptional support with daily tasks and offered great conversation to pass the time. Overall, I would highly recommend the Companion service to anyone in need of some extra assistance at home. It truly made a positive impact on my day-to-day life.

I am a regular client of North Region Homecare, and I must say, their services keep on improving. I usually book them for my father who requires help in his daily life, and as I cannot be around my father all the time due to my work, I can always rely on the experienced professional staff that North Region Homecare has. With their support, I can work effectively and efficiently, sometimes even for long hours without any major worry from my father.

As a person who does not like hiring people to take care of my grandmother, upon someone’s advice, I made a decision to try North Region Homecare’s services for once. I stayed with their staff at my house for the full day and kept a check on my grandmother. I knew my grandmother was much more relaxed and comfortable as she showed signs of relief due to the care provided by the staff. I now have opportunities to spend more time with my studies and work, meanwhile, my grandmother stays happy too. One of the best decisions I made.
